Check out America; and cry.

The present state of America makes me sick. It actually makes me nauseous to ponder how far this once magnificent nation has slipped into mediocrity. When I was a young man, fifty or sixty years ago, you could mention just about anything: And America was best at that. Back then; America enjoyed the best health care, the best schools, and the best working conditions on Earth, while we worked fewer hours, made more money, and enjoyed a life style never before seen upon this planet.

Our coal mines were producing more coal, our steel-mills smelting more iron, and our assembly-lines led the World in the manufacture of beautiful automobiles, refrigerators, wash-machines, dryers, and the hoard of smaller appliances and gadgets (which eliminated most of the drudgery of our daily chores) and introduced mankind to the life-of-ease, we all now enjoy. We led the World in space exploration, had the Earth’s finest highway system, fastest air travel, mightiest railroads, and were led by men of magnificent vision. Nearly every President set aside at least some small park or game refuge, and all endeavored to make America excel, in every way they could. And I cannot remember one word ever being said about America being in debt.

Now, though we rarely lead the World in anything, we can still claim one abominable title: America has become the World's Biggest Debtor Nation. Our National debt exceeds $14,625,000,000,000.00, that fourteen trillion, six hundred and fifty billion + dollars, (as of the first of August 15, 2011.) To put that number in perspective, we now owe over $47,000.00 for every legal man, woman and child in America. [That is over $130,000.00 owed by every tax payer.] Talk about selling your children into slavery, no other country has ever, so unconscionably encumbered their descendants. We are indubitably the Earth’s, Number One, all time, Debtor. And we can be sure this distinction shall remain with America. No other nation should ever, has ever, or will ever, even come close to owing this amount.

We are not doing so great with Health Care either: Have you been told that America has the best Health Care System in the World? The truth: According to The World Health Organization: We rank thirty-seventh, well below all other Industrial Nations. [One person told me that ‘WHO’ was just a left-wing Political Organization trying to discredit America’s Health System.](If you can find any connection between the ‘WHO’ and America, please let me hear from you.)

Life expectancy in the U.S. has fallen to, an unbelievable forty-second place in the World. One more new head line; “Dubious Ranking on the net:” The US worse than 40 other countries in new born deaths. We have a greater percentage of our babies die, before than they are a year old, than thirty-nine other nations.

Can you stand still more bad news? Our schools are failing miserably: Now, American High School Graduates rank only average, or below (whether tested in Mathematics, World History, Language, Science or any other critical field of expertise) and compared with the test scores of students from the other industrialized nations. The three-yearly OECD Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) report, which compares the knowledge and skills of 15-year-olds in 70 countries around the world, ranked the United States 14th out of 34 OECD countries for reading skills, 17th for science and a below average, 25th out of 34 OECD countries, in mathematics. Twenty-fifth is absolutely horrible; unacceptable. I do hope you understand: There is no way America can remain a World leader, with the present, pitiful condition, of our education system.

Every day our Republican and Democratic Party Lords work at enacting bills, which cedes one International Conglomerate after another some financial quid pro quo, for Pac-money received. And nearly all concessions to Mega Businesses, or some other Country, prove to be detrimental to America's working people. Every day, they are in session, our corrupt Politicians continue to cede more and more tax breaks, money, to the World’s Richest.

Medical Cartels and Drug Companies, with their unchallenged power, have manipulated our US Government into giving them a license to rob us. Some of the very same drugs you are buying at your pharmacy can be bought in other countries for as little as ten percent of what you are paying for them. If our Pharmaceutical Retail Companies were allowed to shop for drugs on the World market, we could buy all of our drugs, on average, for about twenty-five percent of what we are now being gouged. Now the Politicians, owned by the Drug Companies, will scream: “Oh we couldn’t do that. We would have no quality control.”

That falsehood has been their argument for decades, and it has worked, has kept us from importing reasonable priced drugs. But it is a scam. We could, easily hire enough competent inspectors, and have all imported drugs checked for quality. Foreign Manufacturers would be glad to pick up the costs. I hope you believe there is a dire connection between America’s reduced longevity, poor infant survival, and our Drug Cartels insatiable greed.

Sad to say, but the Medical Cartels and Drug Companies, with their unchained power, are not the worst villains when it comes to manipulating our US Government into giving them a license to steal from us. The International Oil and Gas Conglomerates, the Interstate Utility Companies, Railroad Cartels, automobile and airplane manufacturing companies, the Cable Companies, International Shipping Cartels and a score of other business concerns all wield as much or more power over our Congress, Senate and President, than do the drug companies. All Big Business Conglomerates are our real enemy. Big Business Graft controls both our National and State Governments, and Big Business Graft is the real reason America is losing ground on all fronts, the reason America is slowly, but steadily, sliding into mediocrity.

The companies mentioned above, along with a hoard of other mighty forces, including a score of Internationally Recognized Countries, like North Korea, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and a dozen more, funnel billions of dollars annually into Washington, and oblige our Republican and Democratic Party Leaders to legislate on their behave. And nearly all graft, creates legislation, harmful to us, harmful to the middle class.

I believe most people in America, old enough to vote, know that corruption is flourishing in our Nation's Capital. Yet incredibly, this knowledge seems to generate very little real concern, when it should dramatically alarm every American. The insatiable greed, of Billionaire Conglomerates, and Millionaire Manipulators, is like a growing cancer, sucking the life-blood out of our Nation. Even if we could elect legislators, which prudently budgeted America's great wealth: It would still take our children, forty years to pay off the incredible debts, we have recklessly accumulated. We must take the power away from Washington’s Political Cartels, to the extent that it enables our elected representatives to vote the way we tell them to vote: Or in another dozen years you are not going to be able to tell the difference between Washington and the corrupt Government of Mexico, or for that matter, tell the difference between Mexico and America.

You're still not concerned? Well let me relate one more fact: If America's lenders get nervous, and start cutting off our credit, our government will disintegrate, beyond resurrection, in a year, or two. Soup-lines, power outages, riots, fires, violence, hunger and sickness will become the miserable end; of what was once the greatest Nation on Earth, the United States of America.

Revolt, Vati, throw them all out.

Obviously, what we have been doing is not working. Our Democracy is on a path toward self-destruction. We have been letting the greatness steadily bleed out of America for over fifty years. And it is high time we hatch a plan which will halt our drift into mediocrity. We can neither control, nor reform, and dare not tolerate our Washington Representation, any longer. There is only one way left to save America: We must revolt.

This is still America, so no one has to die, we do not need guns to clean the corruption out of Washington. We can revolt peacefully, we still have the right to vote. And all we need do: Is vote our way out from under this mess.

The Senators and Congressmen, who rule the House and Senate, are never going to voluntarily give up their seats, and the source of their power; their pac-money, so wise-up, and vote smart. Vati, vote against the incumbents. Vote our legislators, which have been continuously legalizing-graft, out of office. I have been advising people for years: When in doubt, always vati. But only in the last few years has the urge to really push this concept become obligatory. Voting against the incumbents is the only viable method, by which we can reverse the America’s plunge into a fate; which no one even wants to believe, let alone see.

If we are going to declare war on our corrupt Legislators, prudence behooves us to learn all we can about them. Many congressmen and senators win their seats by very small margins, less than 5%. So if just 10% of the voters would vati, we could probably expel about 25% of our Senators and Congressmen. And you can bet: We would definitely get their attention. If as many voters would vati, as voted for Ross Perot in 1992 (He drew 18.9% of the popular vote.) we would likely unseat over 75% of both houses. Very few politicians win their seats by 19% of the vote.

Folks this is a very simple, do-able plan, which anyone can see, will definitely work. If we are ever going to wake up, and get serious about fixing our disintegrating Government, the last chance is upon us, so wake up now. The only question left: Is where are you going to place your loyalty, to the corrupt politicians, which you have been blindly supporting, or to America? You can’t serve two masters and be loyal, or useful, to either. And the only way, we are ever going to oust enough corrupt officials to demand drastic political reform, is to vati.

It really does not really matter what fuels your political zeal: Whether you want to save the spotted owl, secure our borders, protect the giant redwoods, or the North Slope, save some swamp, fight Global Warming, clean up a river, or whatever, all these things are going to cost some Powerful Big Business Money.

And our Politicians, beholding to the World's Financial Empires for their Pac-Money, are not going to allow anyone to achieve anything, which costs their Rich Donors, any money: So we only have one option: Usurp the reins of government; and reestablish Democratic Representation. And there is no single organization in this country which has the power to accomplish that feat alone. So the answer is very simple: Whatever your cause, or affiliation, you have only two choices; you can either stay on your knees, pleading too deaf ears, which will accomplish nothing, or we can all band together; Vati, and clean up Washington.

If we can expel enough Politicians out of Washington, to save America; we will all have a hoard of accommodating representatives asking to help promote our various causes. Politician’s egos are all wrapped up in their positions. There is only one thing in this World, which politicians actually love more than Pac-money: That is the heady feeling of power, generated by their influential positions, by their jobs. And on the very day our legislators learn that a disappointed electorate is desperate enough that a significant number will vati, they are going to be magically stricken with a burning desire to legislate on behave of their constituency, on behave of the Middle Class, on behave of the crowd you run with.

Our Tax System Divides The Rich and Poor

We have millions of Americans unemployed, and millions more under employed, thousands of disgruntled Citizens marching in the streets of various cities, as of now, and a hoard of Politicians spewing enough political garbage to feed all the hogs in America, if it was just eatable, and/or brain wash every Citizen of the World: Yet, no one has attempted to carefully explain exactly what caused America’s extended drift into mediocrity, this dreadful financial recession, or the present Shaky Global Economy. And as yet, none of our know-it-all politicians have offered us, anything more than band-aids, which might help tide us over into an ever more threatening future.

Now don’t you believe that it is about time we all recognize: America should never endure any wild fluctuations in its economy? Or neither should we have suffered through fifty years, of steadily drifting into mediocrity, nor should we have ever been a part of, or one of the main contributors to; the shaky World Economy.

All of these down turns in our prosperity were not unavoidable natural phenomenon. America does not suffer a national fluctuation in her economic stability, because a hurricane runs up her East Coast, or because North Dakota Area suffers an arctic winter, or because Texas has a terrible drought, or even when millions of barrels of Crude Oil get dumped into the Gulf of Mexico. The wars America has fought have been, and continue to be, a serious drain on our economy. But they are not responsible for bringing America to her knees.
And neither has Social Security, in spite of the Political Disinformation, which has been extensively recycled, ever election since Ronald Regan introduced the idea that it was an unsustainable drag on America Economy; Social Security has actually been one of the most Economy Stabilizing Departments in Our Government.

Medicare has been a drag on our government but 90% of the problem with Medicare is Graft: This country is being ripped off by everybody from Wall Street, to the shacks of the needy. We need to spend billions of dollars training investigators and prosecutors to uncover fraud, and Fraudulent Enterprises, and put the Dishonest Leeches in jail.

If we really want to understand, and fix what is wrong with America, we must do adequate research, and figure out just what blunders got us into this mess. And then demand: Washington Legislators repair the damage. Erase all legislation which contributed to these fiascos, and replace the stipulations with ridged laws, which will forever prevent such a debacle from reoccurring.

And it will become rather obvious, quickly, when a person starts studying America’s decent into mediocrity, or the frightening, financial conditions, in which the American Middle Class now find themselves: That it is all about money. About how the government taxes our revenue, and yes; how they spend our money. It is about Wall Street, about how the Banks handle money, how the Speculators gamble with other peoples’ money and about how the Money-Traders globally juggle money, in search of unsavory usury fees. And we must not forget; it is always about the United States Government being the easiest mark on this Planet.

All of America’s Financial Troubles are directly related to Washington Legislative Malfeasance: As quid pro quo, for Pac-Money received, Our Washington Legislators, over the last sixty years, while America slipped deeper and deeper into mediocrity, not only lopped about two-thirds of the upper income tax-brackets. But they gave up their ability to limit how much money any one individual, or Company, can make, or Take; by completely killing the 80%, and higher, Income Tax Brackets.

And they not only made it legal to obtain any amount of money. Our Legislators continued to systematically tag thousands upon thousands of amendments, onto other legislation, which allowed the most affluent individuals and Financial Empires on Earth, more than enough loop-holes in our tax code, to avoid paying any income tax, on their ill gotten gains.

The old adage: “It takes money to make money,” is profoundly true. But those pithy words definitely need amended, with: “And the more money you accumulate, the easier it is to make money.” Sadly, the paralleling reality of the needy is: The less you have, the harder it becomes, to make money, to eke out a living.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt pointed out that: “The liberty of a Democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it comes stronger than their Democratic State itself. That, in its essence, is fascism-ownership of government by an individual, by a group.
And if I may add: Owning our Legislators, via Pac-Money, has allowed the Financial Empires, the Ultra Rich and even other Nations to amend our Income Tax Code and Banking Laws, almost at will, for their own benefit. And that ability, in essence, is ownership by proxy.

After the great Banking Debacle and the taxpayers had begrudgingly anted up billions of dollars to bail out the banks; the next news that hit the airwaves was: “AIG Executives, collectively responsible for their share of the Banking Debacle, received $200 million dollars, of taxpayer money, in the form of bonuses.”  When questioned about these outrageous bonuses, rip-offs, President Obama merely said: “It was legal.” And technically, though sad it may be; under our present watered down policies, and relaxed law enforcement, such thievery is legal; and running rampant.

But it was definitely neither right, just, nor reasonable. Combined, the Fannie Mae and Freddie agencies have cost taxpayers $169 billion, with the losses still mounting. Fannie's Michael Williams and Freddie's Charles Haldeman earned $9.3 million, and $7.8 million respectively, over the last two years. Which according to Republican Darrell Issa; “Gives them, the best taxpayer-financed jobs anyone ever latched on to.” It would be hard to guess what they might have been paid, had their firms shown a reasonable profit.
The largest bonus received heretofore went to Wall Street Trader, Adam Levinson. He reportedly received a $244 million, "golden handcuffs" deal, to keep him at a leading hedge fund. He was given the share grant by employer Fortress Investment Group LLC to stop him leaving for a competitor, or starting his own firm. [They evidently knew he was a real loyal employee.] After details of his mega-bonus leaked; Levinson claimed; “I’m worth it.” He made (took) nearly four times the $69 million pay package, the highest paid US chief executive, John Thain was paid last year by Merrill Lynch.

No person is worth even one-tenth of a $244 million in/per one year, to the company they work for, to the city, or state they live in, or to America. And if it is not right that the money was taken, if it was not earned, then it was stolen. And the world would be better off, had the man who took it, never lived. Any decent person would not have accepted such a bonus.
It has been said that: “Neither ego, nor greed, knows any boundaries,” and this travesty certainly proves that adage.
This one transaction also surely proves the utter inadequacy of our income tax system; which has totally relinquished control over how much the wealthy are allowed to steal.

Cutting Taxes don't make Jobs: It makes the Rich, Richer.

Our Senate and Congress that listened to their Lobbyists and relaxed the Banking Regulations, and which killed the 80%, and higher, Upper-Tax Brackets, [which limited the amount of money any one person or one organization could steal] were as guilty of Democratic Malfeasance, and of depriving America of the bill;ions of dollars as was the sleaze-bags who, took the bonus.

Obviously there were many other people of despicable character, who aided, abetted, and profited from this fraudulent transaction: And this is only one sleazy deal. There have been literally millions of others, which have stolen millions by similar orchestrated thievery. And the millions of unearned dollars taken by the millions of conniving, greedy, Autocrats equals not only many billions of dollars; but Our US Treasury, over the last half-century, has been cheated, via this Legislative Malfeasance, out of trillions of dollars.

Contrarily to the steady stream of political brain-wash, which is constantly spewed out over the air, neither cutting taxes for the wealthy, nor deregulating Banks, nor deregulating other Mega Businesses, has ever made a dimple in the unemployment rate, in the short, or in the long term.

In the long term, these Legislative Errors in judgment, bare most of the responsibly for America’s drift into mediocrity. America has been brought to her knees, has been robbed of her Wealth, Financial Health, by Our Legislators; which sold their souls for Pac-Money, and rigged the Income Tax code to favor the High and Mighty, and deregulated the Banking Industry until the greedy had free access, to just take what they wanted. And Greed knows no limits: They wanted it all.

Now with America deeply in debt, and running a huge monthly deficit, the Psychopathic World’s Wealthiest, in search of a few more dollars, have ordered their Obliged Legislators to cut Social Security, cut Medicare, and cut School Aide drastically. Also the number of police and firemen on the streets, school lunches, and food stamps, among a host of other safety net features, are being trimmed. Of course America’s top money makers will all get another huge raise.

On average, in 2010, according to the AFL-CIO analysis of 299 companies, in the S&P 500 Index; the CEO’s of major companies received an average of 11.4 million dollars each last year. The 299 CEO’s combined pay amounted to a shocking $3.4 billion dollars, enough to support 102,325 jobs paying the median wages for all workers.

Income Gap Balloons, Is It Holding Back Growth?
By the NPR Staff

Members of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors tend to speak cautiously: Their words can move markets. Yet last month, Fed Governor Sarah Bloom Raskin was remarkably candid about the growing gap between America's rich and poor.

“This inequality is destabilizing and undermines the ability of the economy to grow sustainably and efficiently," She said; “Income inequality,” she continued, is anathema to the social  progress that is part and parcel of such growth."

The income gap in the United States has ballooned: It's wider than any time since 1928, in the days before the stock market crash triggered the Great Depression. The numbers are startling: Top CEO’s salaries were up 23 percent last year, according to the New York Times; the average worker's pay was up only .5 percent.

Meanwhile, the top 0.1 percent of American earners now take in more than 10 percent of the nation's collective income. That puts the U.S. in the same inequality ballpark as developing countries like Cameroon and Ivory Coast.

This degree of income inequality has produced plenty of outrage - most of it about the moral implications of the gap. The idea that people make the same or less today than they made 40 years ago is a stunning historical fact.

But is income inequality putting the brakes on the stalling economy? And how did the gap between the wealthy and the middle class get so big?

The noted capitalist, Henry Ford, once gave his employees an unsolicited raise. When asked why? He asks; "If I don't give them a raise, who will buy my cars?"

Obviously modern CEO's and Boards of Directors and Our Legislators in Washington, are oblivious to the logic of the genius' statement. If people do not have money, they cannot buy goods and services. One way under current law is to tax the money and use the revenue for public works. That will employ many that will put the earnings into circulation. Curiously, as Ford noted, that will contribute to the wealth of the people taxed!

Again I ask: Please read their whole article. But the question: Is income inequality causing, or contributing to America’s slide into mediocrity? Can easily be answered; with a definite: “Yes.”

Exactly what is causing the ever widening gap between the Psychopathic Rich, and America’s struggling Middle Class, has been addressed: Legislative Malfeasance has skewed our Income Tax System and given the Ultra Rich a license to steal; while it robs the middle class of their fair share.

Vati Poem

 VATI
I wrote this poem more than twenty-five years ago, and It reverberates
my sentiment now as vibrantly, as then.

AS MIGHTY ROME FELL, AMERICA COULD DIE.
WHETHER IT FAILS OR NOT, IS UP TO YOU AND I.
I worried and stewed, but by-and-by,
came up with a plan, where you and I,
can set America the a road, to a brand-new high.
Just blame the politicians, get blood in your eye,
and Vote Against The Incumbents. Vati, vati.

Now just voting won’t do it, we’ve got to vati.
That’s v, a, t, i, with a long A, and long I.
Vote against the Incumbents; and you vati.
Things will never get better, until we vati.
Vote against the incumbents, Vati, vati.
There is just no time, to just set and sigh.
America will fail, without you and I.
The time has come, we must do or die.
We must all vote, and we must vati.
Vote against the incumbents, Vati, vati.
Things won’t just get better, by-and-by.
Unless the apathetic voters, you and I,
hit those poles with blood in our eye.
And not only vote, but wisely vati,
Vote against the incumbent. Vati, vati.

We dare not buy, some political lie,
the America we love, is about to die.
Politicians no longer, serve you and I,
but all acquiesce to the powers that buy.
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.
The newly elected may wish to serve you and I,
til that powerful pac-money catches their eye.
Then party loyalty becomes their big lie.
As they vote with the pac, for their piece of the pie.
Vote against the incumbents, Vati, vati.
Congressmen and Senators are nigh as apt to die,
as meet defeat at the poles, by you and I.
They know we’ll vote for’em, they don’t have to try.
America is declining, as democracy goes awry.
Vote against the incumbent. Vati, vati.

Waxing fat on the apathy, shown by you and I,
Politicians became hogs, and Washington’s a sty.
But we can change all that, in the blink of an eye,
if we just get off our apathy, and dutifully vati.
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.

If just one out of twenty, of us would vati,
We’d get nigh a forth of that Washington sty.
Now that might be to few, to help you and I,
But we’d darn sure make the rest of them shy.
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.
And when; “Foul, foul,” the politicians cry.
And charge that; “Great careers will sadly die.”
Stand up and look them, straight in the eye,
And vow; “Losing only makes the truly-great try.”
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.

From the County Coroner, to that Washington sty,
if you don’t love the incumbent, always vati.
Help turn America toward, a brand—new high.
Teach your kids and your friends, they must vati.
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.

If the state of America, makes you want to cry,
then help start a revolution, no one has to die.
Our party loyalty sent elections go so far awry.
And we can fix that error, just revolt and vati.
Vote against the incumbents. Vati, vati.

Part your 2nd and 3rd fingers; that “V” means vati.
Send this to a friend, who you think will comply.
Let’s all band together, and give’em a black eye.
Vati, vati, and hearty bye-bye.

If you like this; copy it, and send it on.
